What customers needs often comes at the expense of what they believe they want it to look like. I’ll be talking about designing to a customers aesthetic wants so that you can be free to have the ability to develop on what they programmatically need.
By incorporating a few design aesthetics into your project , you will put the customer at ease which will allow you to focus on their projects technical needs.

• Create a Customer Avatar to design against
• Quickly establish/create brand guidelines.
• Images, what to select.
• Golden Ratio/ Rule of Thirds
• Symmetry
• Space is ok, too much information is not.
• Color use in images and Accents.

About The Speaker:

Edward Ferguson, PMP

He is a graduate of the New York State Merchant Marine Academy with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
Edward has overseen the design and deployment of critical IT core systems responsible for sustaining multi-million dollar businesses. He has worked as a project manager with a focus on designing and implementing various IT infrastructure projects globally for industry leaders in Healthcare and Oil and Gas over the past 20 years.

In his current role, Edward is the owner of Houston based digital marketing startup Flame Grower LLC. Edward currently designs strategies for small and mid-sized business’ with the aim to grow and enhance their brands.

In 2017 Edward worked alongside the Houston marathon medical director to produce 5 successful live streams with an average reach of 3000 views with no additional budget for advertisement. He corroborated with different healthcare professionals and marathon experts to produce high quality, interactive live-stream events.

He currently assists multiple clients with their online marketing needs, implementing multiple tools and creative social media as well as public initiatives to help enhance their market presence.
Mr. Ferguson, is a passionate team leader, speaker, and business representative. He looks forward to expanding his business and community outreach.
