We will read and discuss Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process: A Method for Getting Useful Feedback on Anything You Make, From Dance to Dessert by Liz Lerman and John Borstel. Michael Verdi, Staff Product Designer from Mozilla, will join us in-person to share how his organization has adapted and used Lerman’s process for design critique.

Michael Verdi is a product designer on the Firefox team at Mozilla where he leads the design of search products. Prior to Mozilla, he held a variety of roles in fields as disparate as nuclear power, theater, video production, and education. The connective tissue across all of this work is his commitment to inclusive, creative collaborations that solve difficult problems.
