Agile Denver Kanban SIG: is a community of practice for practitioners interested in sharing and learning with others about applying lean and agile principles along with flow, pull, and kanban system concepts to assist with catalyzing and effectively managing change to improve their business workflow processes, and to predictably forecast and answer the question “When will it be done?” It is a special interest group (SIG) of the Agile Denver group and is also associated with the global Lean & Kanban University and Limited WIP Society.
NOTE: The Agile Denver Kanban SIG will NOT meet in March 2019!
As part of our 2018 Nov meetup, we did a “fit for purpose” (F4P) survey. We kicked off our 2019 year reviewing this data at our Jan meetup. Learning was identified as the top value and received a high fit for purpose rating based on the data we obtained. Networking was identified as the second top value, and with a fit for purpose rating indicating a desire to improve.
In March, continuing to act our F4P data, John Bannister and I will be meeting with several of the long-time regular attendees of the Agile Denver Kanban SIG and re-visit the mission/vision, discuss strategic intents related to addressing our F4P findings, and develop an operational model going forward to help us achieve these intents.
So Stay Tuned! We’ll work to post updates soon!
In the meantime, we hope you continue online and offline the great conversations started at our meetups, by sharing your questions and responses with each other as comments on the latest meetup or direct messages respectively.
